The CanmetENERGY Centre in Varennes is pleased to present the third edition of its annual executive report. This document highlights the scientific and technological advancements achieved during the 2024–2025 fiscal year, reflecting our continued commitment to research and innovation in the field of clean energy.

The report highlights the progress of our five-year science plan (2023–2028), as well as developments in projects funded by the Program of Energy Research and Development (PERD) and the Energy Innovation Program (EIP). It reflects the rigorous work of our research teams and partners, who collaborate to design sustainable solutions for Canada’s energy future.

Through this report, we demonstrate how our research and development activities contribute to reducing energy-related greenhouse gas emissions, while supporting an inclusive and sustainable energy transition.
