Project Objectives

The objective of this project is to improve the cost effectiveness of existing subsurface analysis technologies.

Expected Results

This project aims to:

1. Share research findings across industries to support MMV regulation development.
2. Advance EcoSeis technology to enable lower density seismic source distributions, reducing surface disruption and survey costs.
3. Standardize seismic testing requirements to improve understanding of CO₂ plume containment and conformance in injection projects.
4. Identify methods to reduce sensor density and seismic survey costs.
5. Develop cost-effective seismic monitoring techniques for subsurface CO₂ plume timelapses, enhancing the study of CO₂ migration in storage complexes.
