The technical assistance focused on strengthening efficiency programs for multifamily buildings and vulnerable households, enhancing Moldova’s energy evaluation tools and standards, and addressing energy poverty and underheated buildings.

The initiative also helped Moldovan institutions connect with Canadian clean technology experts through the Trade Commissioner Service, supporting longer-term collaboration and market opportunities. Work is underway to develop additional technical assistance with Moldova’s Ministry of Energy in support of energy security.
