Project Objectives
The objective of this project is to improve cryogenic/expansion technology via laboratory R&D to develop an innovative supersonic carbon capture process, adaptable to various industrial sources at low cost.
Expected Results
This project aims to:
- Develop an innovative Canadian capture technology based on a mechanical separation method, applicable to various sources, even at low CO2 concentrations.
- Validate the concept and provide data on performance, energy consumption, and sustainability to provide CapEx and OpEx estimates for a commercial-scale system.
